Well. Hello everyone. And thank you for this wonderful opportunity. I’ve always been a big Johnny Depth’s fan, love his creative artistic work throughout the years, and admired his humanitarian work even more.
I welcomed this wonderful opportunity to dust off and share my artwork, brag a little about my creativity and talent, and my life journey, although more importantly, I’m now motivated to finally get my art gallery finished and open its doors to the world. So technically I’ve already won… no longer a dormant retired old dude, just sitting around sipping on beers across the street from my house on the beach ![]()
Rather, ready to share and give opportunities to those whom alike myself, previously never had any. Therefore had to struggle and learned the hard way… since nothing was given. So instead of seeing this venture as a competition, I would rather take it on as an opportunity to create collaboration, and I’ve instead shared the link, invited several of my younger friends and students from Honduras, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, the USA, and other countries to participate in this global event in hopes that they, too, could get their art exposed to the world. This will give them more confidence, broader notoriety, and possibly a chance to win and therefore further their artistic dreams to fruition.
On the other hand, once they become very famous, I’ll then invite them to showcase and present their exhibits at my gallery in Puerto Rico. While most people still dream of heading off to Europe and the USA to compete for the few remaining Euros y Dólares, they missed out on the great opportunities and appreciation for arts culture and music, right here in this great country, ignoring that while on vacation and resting in this beautiful, prosperous island nation, is when they’d really have the time to focus and invest more in the arts…
Puerto Rico!
In reality, as artists, we all win by supporting The Art of Elysium in their mission to use art as a catalyst to help people triumph over difficult life challenges. Puerto Rico!
