Flight of The Phoenix was all written, composed, and produced by the talented artist, who’s music is relaxing, uplifting, inspiring, and soulfully persuasive. My guess is that he has proven himself once again to us. The Album, Flight of The Phoenix, pays tribute to his adoptive hometown of Middletown, Connecticut, and to his country of origin and birthplace of Puerto Cortes, Honduras. Sabas also pays homage to his mother and to his children, while taking time to remember his church family and friends of Cross Street AME Zion. Sabas’ gospel roots are clearly defined in his music, art, literature, and in the way, he lives his life. Sabas Whittaker is also an author, lecturer historian, and a visual artist with a Ph.D. in history and pastoral psychology.
